Mini Monthly Round-Up | June
As the first day of summer approaches, our favourite day of the year also draws near. In the lead-up to Canada Day, we have exciting news to share.
First, we have a new brand to share with you, a transformation we’re making with tender loving care, and much excitement.
Next, we held our first ever Annual General Meeting at our pilot site this month, where we took a big group of shareholders through our new brand, and a view of the attraction experience we’re creating for launch. We also shared the latest on the search for our location - we’re closing in on an exciting permanent home.
Welcome to Little Canada
Our mission is to evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity about Canada from our guests. Our promise to them is to create a uniquely Canadian experience of a vast land with a small-town feel. Our promise to our guests begins with our brand name, Little Canada, ou si vous préférez en français, Petit Canada. Our full brand name is Little Canada, Our Home and Miniature Land. But you can call us Little Canada for short.
Our First Ever AGM
On May 28th we held our first ever Annual General Meeting. Hugh Latif, Chairman of our Board of Directors, welcomed over 50 investors to our pilot site in Mississauga for an afternoon filled with official shareholder business, but also the aroma of tasty food, laughs and smiles of our guests.
The Little Canada Experience
Our goal is to make our Little Canada experience one that is near-and-dear to your heart. We have put countless hours into making sure that when you experience Little Canada, you experience all the big and little things that make this country so great. The many quirks and treasures wait to be discovered when you enter - a uniquely Canadian experience of a vast land with that cozy, small-town feel.
Our New Location
We are closing in on our final location, the permanent home for our Little Canada attraction.
A guiding principle for Little Canada is accessibility. Our Little Canada experience should be accessible to people from all walks of life. So our attraction will be located in the heart of downtown Toronto, highly accessible 364 days a year to almost three million city residents and millions of tourists from Ontario, Canada, the United States and abroad. Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor heat of summer (we wish!) will prevent our guests from venturing out to visit Little Canada.
We are weeks away from an announcement, when “X” will mark the spot of our permanent location. Stay tuned!
